Why am I creating AnimStore?

Why AnimStore Exists

We are game creators first.

For years we have been building 2D games and running into the same problem again and again: it is hard to find high quality ready 2D animations with real source files.

If you need music, UI kits or 3D models, there are many marketplaces.
If you need 2D animation source files that you can actually open, tweak and integrate into your pipeline, things suddenly get messy.

  • Assets are scattered across personal Gumroads, random drives and old forums
  • Many packs include only exported sprites, not real project files
  • Licenses are unclear or too restrictive
  • There is no single place focused on 2D animators as the main audience

AnimStore is our answer to that problem.

We Built What We Wanted To Use

AnimStore started from a simple internal question:

“Where do we get good 2D animations with source files that we can trust and drop into our games right now?”

We could not find a store that:

  • focuses only on 2D animation source files
  • respects real production workflows for games and apps
  • treats animators as first class creators, not just an extra category

So instead of waiting, we decided to build it.

AnimStore exists because we, as game developers, needed it ourselves.

For 2D Animators, Not Just For Assets

AnimStore is not a generic asset shop with a “2D” tag added on top.

The entire platform is designed around 2D animators and the way you actually work:

  • Rigs and project files for Spine, DragonBones, Toon Boom and other tools
  • Frame by frame cycles and full libraries
  • Sprite sheets and PNG sequences with proper organization
  • Technical details that matter: FPS, formats, resolutions, software versions

If you are a 2D animator, you should feel that AnimStore speaks your language.

A New Revenue Stream For Creators

We also saw another problem. Many animators have tons of unused work on their drives:

  • old client concepts that never shipped
  • internal tests and rigs
  • side projects that never became full games

Most of this work never earns a cent after the first delivery, if it is used at all.

AnimStore gives 2D animators a way to:

  • package that work into clear source packs
  • set a price and a license
  • sell it to studios, indies and other creators
  • keep 80 percent from each sale

Your old project files can start paying you again.

A Better Starting Point For Game Teams

For buyers, the goal is simple: give game teams a faster start.

Instead of building every rig and animation from scratch, you can:

  • grab a solid base pack
  • customize it to your style
  • focus your time on game design, feel and content
  • ship faster with less stress on your animation team

AnimStore exists so that your next project does not start from an empty timeline.

In Short

There was no good store made specifically for 2D animators.
We are game creators, we felt that pain, and AnimStore is our answer.

If you create 2D animation source files, AnimStore is your place to sell them.
If you build games and apps, AnimStore is your place to find them.
